Yesterday, I installed the paintings and drawing at Susanne Vielmetter’s. The video screen is being mounted today—which I’ll go test toward the end of business today, so it is pretty much all done. I think the two room are balanced and everything has its proper space. I’m very happy with how it all came together.
I’ll post some installation shots—which will mostly look like small black rectangles on white field (there are some close ups)—as soon as I get a chance to downloaded them and sort them out.

Probably closer to ninety percent done, and of course there is installation on wednesday.

There are some miscellaneous things to do before I head to LA, but I am very close to the end of it—if all goes well, I have only one painting to finish, and some video editing. Now it is time to sleep.

a day late, Happy Birthday JL Godard (which is also my mother’s birthday).

I’m in the last week of work for my upcoming exhibition at Susanne Vielmetter that opens on the 18th of December. Which means gearing up for the next project. There are panels getting built and gessoed (well one, but more to come shortly), and image selection is underway. The new maquettes are much more ephemeral—held together with gaffer tape. A new image is above.
The image below is from a residential construction site from my less frequent drives.
