Unfortunately, disposable palettes are the most useful to me; I used a glass palette for years, but I cleaned it with solvent (mostly turpentine) and razor blades. Utretch started carrying these 6 by 9 inches grey paper palettes which is so much better than the standard 9 by 12 inches for me. The grey is really nice for mixing color and and determining values. Double Plus.
There once was a yellow, orange and red one. Well there still are, I just don’t have them anymore (Circa 1997).
This painting is far from finished, but I wanted to post something that is coming along.
